The Mike James Memorial Trophy competition will be held as part of the South Hams FAC Spring shoot.  This year it is 22nd April 2012.  Details of the shoot can be found on the shoot page

As a lot of you know, Mike died in June 2010 from a Pulmonary Embolus brought on by a DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) after a minor operation to repair his achilles tendon and myself, Mollie & Vicki wanted to do something to commemorate him and his love of traditional archery.

This competition will be for wooden arrows only and will include Longbow, American Flatbow, Primitive and Hunting Tackle styles. (Come on all you closet woodies, you know you want to!)  The trophy, very kindly made by Lee Philips includes a miniature longbow made especially for this purpose by Pip Bickerstaffe.

It is a paired competition for any two archers with only one cub / junior allowed per pair.  Sign up on the day with Kerry, Vicki or Margaret or you can email me with your details.
